*Microcentrifuge Tubes with the Unique Cap-Lok Seal*
Our disposable 0.6 ml and 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes feature a two-step cap with our patented Cap-Lok seal. The first step allows for easy, one-handed opening without splashing, while ensuring a tight seal that prevents leaks during centrifugation. The second step of the Cap-Lok provides an even tighter seal, making it ideal for boiling, freezing, storing, or shipping samples. Additionally, the cap includes a completely flat, frosted top that serves as an excellent writing surface.
To enhance safety and ease of use, the outer bottom of the tubes is smooth to prevent painful “pokes,” and the inner bottom is rounded to ensure maximum sample recovery. The 0.6 ml tube is particularly favored for PCR methodologies.
Both sizes are made from virgin, non-wettable polypropylene and are autoclavable. They come in six non-cytotoxic, non-metallic colors and can be ordered sterilized by gamma irradiation. Each bag contains 1000 tubes.
